The spill is large, and clean-up efforts are still ongoing. Last numbers are that the Coast Guard beach cleaners now have taken up 450 cubic meters of oil and still there is a lot of oil left in the water. When the easterly wind currently grows, it is driving the oil to sea again and could pop up anywhere else. How great the damage is to the unique nature and wildlife in the area is too early to tell.
